About Us
"After more than 25 years worth of casting, catching, and releasing on over 282,000 miles of water, during 6374 daylight to dark days, and competing in over 250 tournaments, I am ready to take you fishing."
The host of Fishin' with Bob Dillow has been involved in the fishing industry for many years. Bob has been lucky enough to make a living in the industry throughout most of his adult life. Tournament fishing is not an all-consuming career for the host, but Bob regularly competes in tournaments to hone his skills and techniques, and because he enjoys competition.
Bob Dillow has made a living in the fishing industry since 1977. He's been a guide, lure designer and builder, manufacturers rep, tournament pro, boating safety instructor, seminar speaker, and television show host. Bob has learned a great deal about television production with his first program, Budweiser's Fishing Ohio. The program was a full time job as Bob produced 26 episodes a year, competed in tournaments, conducted seminars, and designed lures.
During this time, Bob won the Ohio Bass Tournament Circuit Championship, a score of other regional and state tournaments, and qualified for the most prestigious Red Man All American.
Budweiser's Fishing Ohio was very successful and had a huge following for several years. The program was available in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and West Virginia through broadcast syndication in 17 markets. Bob wanted the program to be more than just a fishing report. He wanted it to reflect real anglers and the real fishing experience.
